I love the message of the song ..someone who is lost..be it a spouse that has had a falling out with a loved one or two friends who that fell apart..it talks about them putting their past behind them and coming back together ..this tune boasts of three R&b /gospel heavy weights ..their voices blended together beautifully ..i miss those days where great artists like these
came together to record music with a message!

Now i was feeling a little down when i saw someone tweet out the lyrics to this song..it instanly reminded me of it and i searched through my mariah discograpy in my music library and found it..this song is a gospel themed motivational song that just inspires you.

Make it happen ,make it happen she sings.. Simply saying that it you want to achieve something just get off your butt and make and effort.. This song just reminds us of a time when music was not only great but had substance and meaning ..how many twenty something year old singers today would write a song like this ? And even if they do radio sleeps on the record.. 'Sigh' mariah was in 20s when she wrote this and it is/was one of the biggest hits of her career..

This song is sooo very classic R Kelly!!! I love this - it totally brings me back to the early 90ies...ohhh so lovely!! I've been having a musical love affair with Kellz for YEARS and when I heard this album was on the way I was soooo excited!!! He did NOT disappoint me either - in fact, there isn't an album this man has put out that I don't like.


This song "Music Must Be A Lady" has been playing over and over for the last few days here at my house and since there is no video as of yet I decided to make one as I normally do when there isn't one!

Now ive played this song over 300times so far today.and  am not exaggerating.. this song was released with Michael jacksons "the ultimate collection" box set ..its one of his very underrated/unknown  songs yet one of his best works ,starts slow  with mj singing lyrics that say "only God has the right to decide who is to live and who is to die " then explodes into one of the biggest over the top choruses you ve heard with mjs signature screams and chants saying "weve had enough "..amazing songs like this cant be explained with words you just need to hear it for yourself ,its songs like that that reveal the sad state of the music industry today, and how music with real depth and message hardly exist anymore .

This is a beautiful song. Jordins voice is really that of the Angels. She touches me with her music so much that she has been able to reduce me to tears and not too many artists can do that.

Songs From The Past - Somewhere Out There....

I just feel like writing about this song, I love it and always have - the blend of these two voices is amazing. Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram make a serious point with this song - Somewhere Out There there is someone for everyone. No matter how or where you meet, no matter your age or race - there is someone for all of us - the trick is in actually finding that someone who was made for you. The other half that makes you a whole.
Not everyone gets to connect with their soul mate but if you do find them - hold on tight and break any barrier to be with them - age, distance, race or anything else should never factor into it....isnt true love worth moving mountains??

I decided to write about this song because it was how I personally was feeling for a few moments in my life. I was like f**k it - who needs a heart when its only gonna get broken anyway??
Its an angry song about love and disappointments...totally the right type of song to have in your head when you're angry about someone breaking your heart, in whatever way - it applies to many situations or you can make it apply.
This is totally the song in my head at the moment....

Charice has one of the most beautiful and  powerful voices of this new generation .This little lady sings with passion and emotion that is absent in many singers of today!! she's able to tell a story with just her voice..she manages to keep you in awe and astonishment from the beginning of a song till the end.


pyramid is a great song very generic sounding like a cross between JOJO and JORDIN SPARKS but its age appropriate , radio friendly and catchy..exactly the kind of song she needs to be putting out if she wants to remain relevant in this  ever changing music industry !Iyaz carries this song well with his jamaican accent their voices blend together beautifully ..very creative pairing , simply amazing production!!
