GAGA, WILLOW AND KANYE WEST WIN BIG AT "MTV O AWARDS"

(Billboard) - Lady Gaga emerged as the clear winner of MTV's inaugural O Awards, an awards show designed to fete all things digital music related. The event was streamed online Thursday (April 28) night from Las Vegas.


Lady Gaga won the prize for Most Innovative Artist and Must Follow Artist on Twitter, two of the more high-profile categories of the event. Other artists walking away with awards included Kanye West (Best Tweet), 30 Seconds to Mars (Best NSFW Music Video), and Willow Smith (Most Viral Dance).
Winners were selected via online and social media voting. MTV says more than three million votes were cast through online, social media and mobile platforms.

Previous to the awards show, MTV issued awards for Most Innovative Music Video, Favorite F**k Yeah Tumblr, Favorite Animated Gif, and Best Hack, which went to Andy Grammar, Fuck Yeah Adam Lambert, Nicki Minaj's "Gum Twirl" and Invisible Instruments, respectively. Awards yet to be given include that for Best Music Hashtag, Best Remix and Best iTunes LP.

ADAM LAMBERT RETURNS TO IDOL!

Adam Lambert will return to the "American Idol" stage next week, as the season 8 runner-up will perform an acoustic version of his song "Aftermath" during the results show next Thursday (Mar. 10).

Following the performance, a new remix of "Aftermath," courtesy of pop producer Billboard, will become available on Lambert's official website.


"Billboard turns the song into a fresh new dance pop anthem to blast on the radio and in the clubs!" Lambert says of the producer, who co-produced Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me." Part of the song's proceeds will support crisis intervention organization, the Trevor Project.

MUSICAL OASIS MUSIC AND ARTIST DISCUSSION FORUMS OFFICIALLY OPEN

I have always had it at the back of my mind to create my own music/artist discussion forum but never really got the motivation and push until  recently ..i visit a lot of forums from Michael Jackson discussion boards to Janet..Adam Lambert end even less popular artists  like Jojo and Jordin Sparks ..but of late there has been a lot of negativity on most boards especially the Janet and MJ boards..this  just pushed me to the limit one day when i was banned from a forum because i cursed out some members  for being so negative ..if this wasn't a sign for me to create my own then i don't know what is..i discussed it with a friend of mine who gave me ideas and we did this..(click on the picture to join the forum)

Exclusive Interview with Adam Lambert

Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert has become an international superstar. With the Grammy Awards this weekend and a live CD and DVD on the horizon, we hopped on the phone with the singer to catch up on all things Adam!

Adam Lambert received his first Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his hit single “Whataya Want From Me.” We wanted to find out if he has pre-Grammy jitters, a glamorous outfit, and who he’ll take with him. “I’m riding solo,” Adam revealed. “It’s one of those things where it’s both fun and work. I feel like it would be rude to bring someone and then have to work. This way I can focus and interact. I think I know what I’m wearing, but I can always change my mind last minute. I’m a fashion schizophrenic!”

Today, Adam alerted his fans that he’ll be releasing a live CD/DVD from his Glam Nation Tour on March 22nd. What was the reason for the decision? The fans! “My fans are so amazing,” Adam said. “I saw so many familiar faces at multiple shows. When I would talk to people at my meet and greets, they would say that they loved everything about the tour—the costumes, musicians, and dancers. We decided it would be a great idea to capture it all for anyone who didn’t get a chance to come see the tour or for people who want a memento. I started reviewing the footage and provided a little input. It’s looking great.”

Idol Community member IowaGyrl wondered what Adam’s favorite tour memory was. He explained, “There wasn’t one stand-out moment; it was a big 6 month experience, so it’s tough to choose one memory. I loved being able to go to so many places internationally like Paris, Italy, Australia, Finland, Sweden, and Norway.”

Community member AlienLioness wanted to know about Adam’s next album and what he meant by it having “a darker edge.” Adam told us, “By ‘darker edge’ it may just be one song. I’m focusing on the vocals and making the album sincere, genuine, and personal. It’s an experiment; we record a bunch and then take it to the drawing board.” What are Adam’s inspirations when writing songs? “I’ve had a rollercoaster year and I draw on those experiences. I have an amazing fan base that keeps up with both my professional and personal life. With the next album I will open a door so that they can understand my feelings.”

Adam collaborated with some big names on For Your Entertainment including Pink, Max Martin, Kara DioGuardi, Lady Gaga, and Rivers Cuomo, among others. Who would he like to collaborate with on his future music? And Rhelburn wondered if he plans on including his band mates from the Glam Nation Tour. Well, he wouldn’t reveal that, but he did say, “I have a few tricks up my sleeve. I don’t really know yet, but we’re beginning to plan and I’d love to collaborate with my Glam Nation musicians.”

Lately, some of the biggest hits in the music industry have been duets. Who would Adam like to sing with? “Performing with David Bowie would be a dream come true for me. He’s such an innovator and he’s not afraid to express himself and be different.”

To all of the Season 10 contestants who hope to walk in Adam’s boots, he says, “The key is to find some way to stand out, but it has to be authentic. Be original, and the element of surprise is one of the best ways to keep people interested.”

Adam ended with a message for all of the Glamberts: “I am so happy to be home after an amazing six month tour. It was great to see so many of the fans.” source

MICK JAGGER ADDED TO LIST OF GRAMMY PERFORMERS

GRAMMY-winning rock legend and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Mick Jagger will perform live on the GRAMMY Awards for the first time. Accompanied by GRAMMY winner Raphael Saadiq and his band, Jagger will perform as part of the telecast's annual "In Memoriam" tribute, which pays homage to members of the music community who have passed away in the previous year.

Jagger and Saadiq join previously announced performers and nominees Arcade Fire, Eminem, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, Miranda Lambert, Muse, and Katy Perry; nominees Justin Bieber and Usher, with Jaden Smith; nominees B.o.B, Bruno Mars and Janelle Monáe; nominees Drake and Rihanna; and nominee Cee Lo Green, with Gwyneth Paltrow and the Jim Henson Company Puppets.

Current three-time GRAMMY nominee Dierks Bentley, singer/actor Selena Gomez, nine-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Norah Jones, two-time GRAMMY winner and actor LL Cool J, current nominee Nicki Minaj, and current nominee Blake Shelton will appear as presenters.

In his first-ever live appearance on the GRAMMY stage, Jagger — accompanied by soul singer Saadiq and his band — will honor one of his longtime idols, recently deceased GRAMMY winner Solomon Burke. Jagger has appeared only once before on the GRAMMY telecast (with the Rolling Stones), via satellite from London during the 28th Annual GRAMMY Awards in 1986, when Eric Clapton presented the Stones with The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Arcade Fire, Bieber, B.o.B, Lambert, Mars, Monáe, Muse, Paltrow, and Smith will also be performing on the GRAMMY telecast for the first time, and all five Album Of The Year nominees are set to perform on Music's Biggest Night: Arcade Fire, Eminem, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, and Perry.

The 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards are produced by John Cossette Productions and AEG Ehrlich Ventures for The Recording Academy. Ken Ehrlich and John Cossette are executive producers, Louis J. Horvitz is director, and David Wild and Ken Ehrlich are the writers.

The 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place live on Sunday, Feb. 13 at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in high definition and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). MICHAEL JACKSON & ADAM LAMBERT FEATURED ON THE 2011 GRAMMY NOMINATIONS CD!!

Superstar singers, Adam Lambert, and the legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson are featured on the 2011 Grammy Nominees CD that was recently released. As fans know, both Lambert, and Jackson are nominated in the same category of Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. 

The fans for both artists will be tuning in to see who will win the award, and it is sure to be an unforgettable night of television.

According to a new report by USA Today, the former American Idol finalist, Adam Lambert's Grammy-nominated song, "Whataya Want From Me" is featured on the album, as is the hit song, "This Is It" by Michael Jackson. According to the same report, the CD has sold 38,000 copies since its debut. The album will debut on the Billboard 200 chart at #4.

Not every artist can say that a song from their debut album was nominated for a Grammy Award, and Lambert is one artist who can say that his first project -- one of his smash singles yielded a Grammy nomination, and perhaps even a win!

Adam Lambert Signs Deal with the Kobalt Music Group

Billboard Magazine reports that the Kobalt Music Group has signed Adam Lambert to a worldwide administration deal/

Songs Adam wrote on his most recent album, include “Pick You Up” and “Broken Open” (both co-written with Kobalt writer/producer Greg Wells), and “Aftermath,” which was produced byHoward Benson. He also had a hand in songs that have been released in various international formats.

Adam is currently at work on an album due out this fall.

“I’m starting to talk to some writers and come up with some ideas,” says Adam, “and I’ll be writing a lot of it myself. It’s going to be very pop, very rock, maybe even a little dark.”

MICHAEL JACKSON: his new album michael will start selling like hot cake when singles start to be released .it will be named album of the year and will produces several chart smashes.. Conrad Murray will plead innocent ..but will die at the end of the year mysteriously

.JANET JACKSON: will have a successful world tour .. the would be so much demand for the tour that she will have to add more tour dates ..she will be offered more movie roles but will put it on hold to record a new album as new music from her is in demand!

BEYONCE: Will have a huge come back ..number 1 album ..number 1 songs ..more endorsements and she will continue to solidify her place as the biggest pop star of this generation

RIHANNA: Sadly she will continue to reign on the charts and her album will sell very well..but she still will not be able to get chris brown out of her mouth

CHRIS BROWN: Will have a successful comeback ..saying that his album will debut at number 1 is pushing it but he will do decent numbers ..F.A.M.E hopefully will be a great album!

CIARA : Will leave jive or will be dropped  either way i think its for the best

WILLOW SMITH : 2011 will be her year ..she going to have several smashes on the chart and her album will be critically acclaimed ..she might debut at number 1 and will take the world by storm

JOJO/JORDIN SPARKS ; Both will release very decent albums  that will start of slow but eventually achieve moderate success ..the will have many songs charting on the charts

LADY GAGA : Her new album will  disappoint ..her star power will start to fade and the media will be very harsh:

TAYLOR SWIFT: Peoples minds will start to open about  how awful her music really is

BRITNEY SPEARS : WILL release a successful album and a big tour  .just like the circus era

LEONA LEWIS : Will attempt a dance record and fail horribly in the usa ..she will how ever remain a big star in the uk and europe as a whole

JENNIFER HUDSON : will release an album that will be slept on..nobody will even  know that she exists

CHARICE : will continue will the asia-american domination

JUSTIN BIEBER :  hitting puberty and loosing his voice ad good looks..his fans will start to abandon him for the next hot thing

KELLY ROWLAND : WILL have moderate success in the USA

AMERIE : will flop and get dropped

ADAM LAMBERT : Will release another album and win a grammy over michael jackson

MARIAH CAREY : WILL give birth to a boy and a girl and will start working  on  a new album  about the experience  of  being a mother .

GLEE : Will become bigger than ever ..with some of the  stars attempting solo music careers and getting moderate success.

AVRIL LAVIGNE: WILL top the charts with her new song ..what the hell

R KELLY/MARIO : KELZ  current album will go gold ..and mario will release  a great r&b/pop album that will do very well an establish him back as the top male artist of this generation.
