Canadian singer songwritter Avril Lavigne released the new video for her single "Smile". She asked her fans via Twitter which song should be the next single from her "Goodbye Lullaby" album that she released in March of this year and they picked this one - great song choice!

Avril Lavigne has grown bored of the mundane routine of her relationship, so she’s looking to let her down and slut about the town for a while in the music video for her new single “What the Hell”.

Besides seeing sexy Avril, the “What the Hell” also contains lots of product placement, but most of the shit is actually Avril’s own stuff (Forbidden Rose, Black Star, Abbey Dawn), so it fits in quite nicely and isn’t nearly as ridiculous as the crap Ke$ha and Lady GaGa plug in their videos.

AVRIL LAVIGNE PERFORMS "GIRLFRIEND" AND HER NEW SINGLE

Just minutes after debuting online, fans got to see Avril Lavigne give the very first live performance of her new single, What The Hell.

Avril turned up at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve to give the debut performance of her new single. Although she rocked a shiny silver dress, she kept it all in punk/pop fashion by pairing it with tennis shoes and wearing pink and green streaks in her hair. Got to love Avril’s style.

Before performing her new song, she took fans down memory lane with a performance of her smash single,Girlfriend.

What The Hell is the first single from Avril’s upcoming album, Goodbye Lullaby, out March 8.

Like, what the hell? Avril Lavigne looks totally uninterested on the cover of her new single, “What The Hell.” But that’s OK. Even if she’s blah on it, we’re totally amped. It’s the first-first single from an Avril album in almost years. We’re ready to dive into what life has been like for the punk-pop goddess over the last few years, though Lavigne has already warned that “What The Hell” will be the “least personal” song on her new set, titledGoodbye Lullaby. That’s cool too. We like upbeat fun Avril just as much as emo Avril.

“What The Hell” will be released on 1.1.11. What a way to kick off the new year.
