My Two Cents - Young Money Crew Throws away $250,000 At A Strip Club

I wasn't going to post on this but my inner bitch wont let it go so here I am, I read in several blogs yesterday about Lil Wayne, Drake and several others attended a party Friday night for WorldStarHipHop.com - the website celebrated their 6th anniversary at King of Diamonds in Miami Beach.

For the record - King Of Diamonds is a strip club and the Young Money Crew danced and partied for hours there. My only problem with the whole thing is this - they actually look pretty stupid throwing around $250,000 to STRIPPERS when, I'm pretty sure wherever they come from, has homeless, jobless, people who have no food for their kids, who could use a hand out like that. I mean, really - $250.,000 - to STRIPPERS??? I'm actually appalled by this whole thing, they make me sick. I understand that these women are just trying to make a living but TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS???
These are the type of people who should not have so much disposible money on hand - this is a completely mononic waste of money!

Drake, your idiot is showing, please tuck it in! You're an effen Canadian - you better start representing better than that bruh. I KNOW for a fact (and so do you) there are people here in Canada that are in desperate need and you should be ashamed of your self - you look like a fool! Canadians DO NOT DO THIS - Have you lost your fricken mind Drizzy???

This is all just my (Tina) opinion and agree or not - it's how I feel. To me, they look like Dumbasses!!

Drake and J-Lo Join The Cast For "Ice Age 4"

(Rap-Up) - Jennifer Lopez and Drake are getting animated. The superstars have been tapped to lend their vocal talents to 20th Century Fox’s Ice Age: Continental Drift, joining a cast that includes Keke Palmer, Jeremy Renner, Aziz Ansari, and Wanda Sykes in the fourth installment of the franchise.

The animated film, set for release on July 13, 2012, also sees actors Queen Latifah, Ray Romano, Denis Leary, and more reprising their roles from previous films. J.Lo is slated to play Shira, a sabre toothed who catches another tiger’s eye, while the Young Money rapper will voice a character named Ethan, according to Deadline.com.

The two stars will be warming up their vocal chops with their upcoming album releases. The “American Idol” judge will drop LOVE? on May 3, while Drizzy is currently working on his highly-anticipated sophomore LP Take Care.

The Canadian entertainer recently pulled out of the big screen drama Arbitrage so he could focus on his music. “I actually decided to work on my album instead of doing that particular film,” he told MTV News.

Pennsylvania Theatre Swindled By Imposter's Claiming To Be Drake's Manager's!

Pennsylvania theater says it's been the victim of a swindle by people posing as managers for rapper Drake.

The management at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg says the two shows scheduled for late May were bogus from the start.

The theater and a local promoter say they were swindled by individuals posing as Drake's manager, tour manager and even the artist himself.

Theater president Richard Berkowitz says he began sniffing out the scheme when the Virginia-based booking agency began asking for a cut of the ticket sales.

Berkowitz says the matter has been referred to authorities. The theater says a number of other promoters have been victims of similar scams.

The theater canceled the non-existent shows Monday and said it would refund the cost of the sold-out tickets. (Billboard.com)

DRAKE AND LIL WAYNE ADDRESS THE RUMORS

Drake caught up with the “I Am Music II” tour when it pulled into Washington, D.C.’s Verizon Center on Sunday night. Lil Wayne introduced his Young Money protégé with a heartfelt speech.

“I know ya’ll know a few months ago I was locked up and shit, but it was people like Drake and people like ya’ll that made me feel like I wasn’t even there, so I appreciate that shit. I really do. I just wanted you to miss me while I was gone,” Weezy said before performing “Miss Me” with Drizzy.

The Canadian rapper addressed rumors that he had left Young Money. “You see today, when I landed in D.C. and I got off the plane, this ni**a looked me in my eyes and he asked me, ‘Did you drop out of Young Money?’ And I looked him right back in his eyes and I said, ‘Boy, are you out your motherfu**in’ mind?!’ Man, I want this shit ‘Forever,’” he told the crowd to roaring applause. A CANADIAN BOY & AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT!

Drake saw stars and zebra stripes last night at a benefit for Bill Clinton’s Millennium Network, hosted by the former president at Boulevard3 in Hollywood. The Young Money rapper, clad in a zebra-print shirt over a black tee, gold chain, and black pants, performed at the VIP fundraiser in support of the Clinton Foundation before a crowd that included Chaka Khan, Chelsea Clinton, Blake Griffin, Rose McGowan, Elise Neal, and more.

The scruffy star received a presidential introduction from Clinton himself. “Our performer tonight really doesn’t need me to introduce him and probably doesn’t need me to tell you that you’ll like him ’cause he’s 40 years younger than I am,” joked Clinton. “We do have one thing in common. He was recently nominated for a Grammy and I won two. Unlike me, his first album was No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and he’s worked and recorded with a lot of famous people including my fellow New Yorker and friend Jay-Z.”

A humbled Drizzy took the stage performing “Show Me a Good Time.” “I’d like to first of all say how honored I am to be here this evening. I’m a 24-year-old kid from Canada and I truly take tonight as one of the most important nights of my life,” he told the audience. “With that being said, let’s have some fun.”

CHART NEWS - WHERE'S YOUR FAV AT?

Nicki Minaj continues her winning streak as "Pink Friday" picks up a second week atop R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Despite dropping 17% to 32,000 copies, Minaj fends off Rihanna's "Loud" which steps 3-2 in its ninth week.

Kanye West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" returns to the top three after a five-week absence moving 25,000 copies. According to Nielsen BDS, the set has shifted 941,000 copies since its Nov. 22, 2010, release date.

Eminem's "Recovery" falls 2-4 in its 31st week on the chart with the album residing in the top five for all but four of those. That 27-week run is the longest since The Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D." posted 41 top five weeks in 2009.

R. Kelly's "Love Letter" (5-5), Jamie Foxx's "Best Night of My Life" (6-6), and T.I.'s "No Mercy" (7-7) all stay put at the last week positions with 18,000, 17,000, and 15,000 copies sold, respectively.

Keyshia Cole's "Calling All Hearts" steps up 9-8 in its fourth week while Lil Wayne's "I Am Not A Human Being" reenters the top 10 jumping 11-9. It is the latter album's 12th week in the top 10.

Rounding out the top 10 is Michael Jackson's "Michael" slipping 8-10 with a 36% decline to 11,000 copies in its fifth week on the chart. For comparison's sake, 2009's "Michael Jackson's This Is It" soundtrack was at No. 2 in its fifth week after spending three frames at the top (the album debuted at No. 100 due to street date violations).

Two new albums grace the chart this week - Los Angeles rapper Schoolboy Q's debut "Setbacks" opens at No. 25 with 4,000 copies and The Jacka's eighth title on the chart "Flight Risk" bows at No. 70 with 1,000 copies.

On R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Trey Songz's "Can't Be Friends" ties Alicia Keys' "Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)" with 12 weeks atop the chart, the longest No. 1 run since Maxwell's "Pretty Wings" spent 14 weeks atop the chart in 2009.

With Rihanna's "What's My Name?," featuring Drake (2-2), and Rick Ross' "Aston Martin Music," featuring Drake and Chrisette Michele (3-3), staying put, Chris Brown's "No BS" (5-4) looks like the most formidable contender to overtake Songz.

Waka Flocka Flame's "No Hands," featuring Roscoe Dash and Wale, continues to slide moving 4-5 this week while Keri Hilson's "Pretty Girl Rock" jumps 10-6 in its 11th week.

Jamie Foxx enters the top 10 for the first time since "Blame It" spent 14 weeks atop the chart in 2009 with "Fall For Your Type," featuring Drake, jumping 11-7.

That brings Drake's total top 10 songs this week to three and if Nicki Minaj's "Moment For Life" (15-11) breaks into the upper tier next week, make it four.

Lloyd's "Lay It Down" slips 7-8 this while Twista's "Make A Movie" featuring Chris Brown, falls 6-9 this week.

Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" closes out the top 10 moving 9-10. As big a record as it is, "Black and Yellow" has not passed its No. 9 peak first reached Jan. 1, 2011.

There were a number of new additions to R&B/Hip-Hop Songs this week as radio stations began to alter their playlists once again after the holiday season. Most notably, Chris Brown's rap song "Look At Me Now," featuring Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne, debuts at No. 62, Melanie Fiona's "Gone and Never Coming Back" opens at No. 84, and Alicia Keys' tribute to her and Swizz Beatz son "Speechless," featuring Eve, bows at No. 99.

DICK CLARK'S NEW YEAR'S ROCKIN EVE!!!!

OMG - I can't even begin to tell you how EXCITED I am for this!!!

Two of 2010’s breakout stars, Willow Smith and Drake, will start the year off right by performing on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.”
In addition to those two, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Hudson, Jason Derulo, Far East Movement, Mike Posner, La Roux, Avril Lavigne, Natasha Bedingfield, and Train are set to provide the soundtrack to the New Year’s celebration.

So, several things excite me about this.....

First - WILLOW SMITH!!!!! (nothing more need be said here)

Second - Ne-Yo, LOVE him and he is in my top ten male artists!! Not only does he have a great voice but he is pretty hot right now in the music business.

Third - Jennifer Hudson, she just so happens to be one of my top ten female artists. I love her, not only does she have pipes that can blow through ANY song but she is also a fantastic actress!

Fourth - Natasha Bedingfield, she also holds a spot in my top ten female artists. I love her voice and I'm so happy she will be performing!!

Fifth - I saw this spot with my own eyes when I was in New York 3 months ago so when I watch this on New Years Eve and can now envision this area where they will be cause I was there!!!

This is an amazing thing to happen to young Willow, at her age to be asked to perform and be ok'ed by Dick Clark is AWESOME!! Will and Jada must be so proud of her and of all their children - hell I'm proud of them and they are not even mine LOL
"I whip my hair back and forth - I whip my hair back and forth" (singing in my Willow voice)
