American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe confirms that Jennifer Lopez will be performing on the show and says it could very well take place BEFORE the finale. Will she perform ‘On The Floor’? Or will it be a premiere performance of a brand new single altogether? In a previous interview, the mother of two confirmed she is looking to release her new album ‘Love?’ in “late May”. This makes so much sense now. The American Idol finale is in May and it appears that she is using the popularity of the show for further success, pretty much in the same vein as when she used the show to premiere her music video.
