39 year old Pinkett Smith talks about her career, children and her 14 year marriage to Will Smith!


On her Kids - 

There are so many other kids you can worry about. My kids? They’re going to be all right. I get why people would criticize. But people need to know that Will and I would never put our children in a situation that would bring them detriment,” she says, her hazel eyes flashing. My kids have no idea how I grew up. Even in knowing my story, they couldn’t know what that means. They have no RE-ALI-TY. None. My feeling is, my kids need to have challenges, in a safe way. If I survived everything that I survived in Baltimore and Will survived everything he survived in Philly, these kids surely can survive the Hollywood game. With so many heavyweights surrounding them—from Beyoncé and Jay-Z to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony—if they can fail in a circle like that, then they weren’t going to win in the first place.”
“All I want for Trey, Jaden, and Willow is happiness,” she says. “As long as they’re happy, and know how to maneuver in this world, I’m good.”

On their personalities -

“Believe it or not, they’re both like me and Will. Willow’s a lot like me – just in the chances she’ll take. And then, Jaden has the drive of his father. Jaden and I are what I call introverted extroverts. Willow and Will are more pow! Jaden and I, well, we don’t give that to just anybody.”

WILL SMITH IS PISSING OFF THE NEIGHBOURS IN NY

(Gossip On This) - Will Smith is getting on his new Soho, NYC neighbors’ last nerves!
According to recent reports, Smith is currently filming “Men in Black III” in the city and has parked his $2 million mega trailer in the trendy Manhattan neighborhood, along with another 55-foot long trailer he uses as a gym!

The specially designed $9,000 a week trailer, nicknamed “The Heat,” is 1,150 square feet, which is larger than most 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom New York apartments. The massive “mobile apartment” includes a lounge with a bar, a movie room with a 100-inch screen, marble floors throughout and offices for his assistants and writing staff, as well as a large master bedroom and an all-granite bathroom.
It measures about 53 feet long, has 22 wheels and weighs in at around 30 tons. And get this: with the push of a button, the mobile unit can double its height in less than 30 seconds!
And not only that, but in addition to his mobile apartment, the actor is also renting a 5-bedroom, 6 and a half bathroom apartment located in the very same neighborhood for around $25,000 per month.

The latest installment in the M.I.B series has a star studded cast including Tommy Lee Jones, James Brolin, Nicole Scherzinger, and Emma Thompson, just to name a few!
The film will be released sometime in 2012.

Hard to believe it was ten years ago that this song was released. 

This was one of the first songs from Will that stepped out of the silly rapping (which I LOVED) to a more mainstream R&B sound. I liked this music for Will but it was also around this time he started to become a more serious actor and the world of Movies will never be the same!!
